How we make money
WaterClaims connects you with independent local companies and may be paid when you call.
The short version
WaterClaims doesn't charge homeowners anything. When you call the number on our site, we connect you with an independent local water damage company, and that company pays us for the call.
How it works
- One company, not a bidding list. Your call goes to one company that serves your area. We don't sell your call to several companies at once.
- You owe us nothing. Any work you agree to is between you and the company you hire.
- You choose. You're never required to hire the company you reach. In most cases you can choose any company you want, even when your insurer suggests one.
What payment doesn't change
Companies can't pay to change what our guides say. Our claim guides are written to be accurate and useful whether or not you ever call. See our editorial policy.
Who doesn't pay us
We don't take money from insurance companies to write or change our guides, and we don't get paid based on the outcome of your claim.
Availability
We're adding local companies one area at a time, so calling may not be available everywhere yet.
